The well-known journalist and TV presenter Licia Colò, who has always been very close to environmental issues, took part with skipper Mauro Pelaschier, Ambassador of One Ocean Foundation and Commander of the Republic for his commitment to ocean protection, in the online meeting “No More Plastic In The Seas” with the students of the Ferraris Pancaldo Nautical Institute of Savona, joined by 4 other Italian nautical institutes.

The association “Menkab” also took part in the event, organized with the support of the nautical clothing company Slam, partner of One Ocean Foundation. The future professionals of the sea were able to deepen the themes of ocean protection, especially with regards to the issue of pollution by plastics and microplastics.
At the end of the meeting the Charta Smeralda was signed.
