On Sunday August 2nd at 9:30 pm One Ocean Foundation and Trofeo Formenton will be organizing an evening dedicated to ocean sustainability in Port Rafael’s square, Sardinia.

The event, with free access, will take place outdoors and will last until 11 pm.

Participating guests include the famous sailor and One Ocean Foundation ambassador Mauro Pelaschier and a representative of the Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli Team, the Italian team which represents the Circolo Vela Sicilia in the challenge of the 36th edition of the America’s Cup presented by PRADA. SeaMe Sardinia will present key highlights of the “Canyon of Caprera” research on cetaceans and Centro Velico Caprera will showcase their environmental commitments.

Riccardo Bonadeo, Vice President of One Ocean Foundation, will introduce the event and encourage the various guests to explain their exciting activities above and beneath the sea’s surface.

One Ocean Foundation supports the initiative “For The Sea” which also includes the beach cleaning activity on July 26th and the Trofeo Formenton, the historical regatta that takes place every year on August 20th between the islands of the Arcipelago della Maddalena.

Various associations collaborate to the “For The Sea” initiative, including SeaMe Sardinia, Centro Velico Caprera, FAI Sardegna and the Consortium of Owners of Port Rafael.
