On the occasion of the World Oceans Day, the Clean Beach Day event was held in the beautiful beach of Mannena (municipality of Arzachena), organized by the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda in collaboration with One Ocean Foundation.

After only two hours of collection, more than three quintals of waste were found, including several plastic objects abandoned on the beach. The Yacht Club Cannigione, the Nautical Club of Arzachena and a team of the association “Una capovolta nel Blu”, together with Consortium Costa Smeralda, partner of One Ocean, joined the activity. One Ocean Foundation plays a key role in the promotion of such events, always aiming to give emphasis to the importance of a global sustainable culture and to extend to the widest possible public the implementation of the key principles of the Charta Smeralda, ethical code for the protection of the marine environment.
