Max Sirena
Skipper and Team Director, he leads the Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli team in the challenge for the 36th America’s Cup.
Max is currently participating in the America’s Cup for the seventh time. Among these he counts a winning 33rd edition with BMW Oracle Racing – where he was responsible for the mast wing project – and victory in the 35th with Emirates Team New Zealand in the Bermuda edition in 2017. Max was also the skipper of the Extreme 40 Luna Rossa and winner of the Extreme Sailing Series championship in 2011.
Today, again as Skipper and Team Director, he is leading the Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli team in the challenge for the 36th America’s Cup in Auckland in 2021.
