One Ocean Foundation is dedicated to the conservation and restoration of marine ecosystems through various scientific research activities: our mission is to increase knowledge and promote the protection of marine biodiversity. Guided by an international scientific committee of esteemed experts, we address a wide range of ocean and climate change topics.
Our environmental projects are firmly based on scientific research and are conducted in collaboration with renowned national and international universities and research centers. These projects are designed to have a significant impact on the ocean ecosystem, delivering positive and tangible results. Furthermore, One Ocean Foundation actively contributes to numerous scientific publications and research programs.
Our projects focus primarily on the Mediterranean Sea, from coastal ecosystems to the open ocean, to high-altitude regions, following the interconnectedness of the water cycle, but our efforts are also at the international level through many of our initiatives. We are also committed to raising community awareness, engaging local populations and young generations through educational programs and outreach activities to foster a deeper understanding and commitment to marine conservation.
