The Blue Economy Summit is a recurring event ideated and promoted by One Ocean Foundation that unites internationally renowned figures from business, finance, academia, civil society, and government to discuss the current state of the ocean and the urgent need to mobilize increased financial resources for the protection and restoration of Blue Natural Capital.
Each year the event involves hundreds of people, students and researchers and touches on important topics such as biodiversity loss, technological innovation to support ocean issues, and new opportunities in the Blue Economy. One of the goals is to foster the formation of partnerships to stimulate collaborations and innovative strategies, producing tangible solutions to safeguard the health of the ocean and marine ecosystems.
