With our definition of the Blue Economy, the concept of the Ocean Economy is significantly expanded by taking into consideration all economic activities that, directly or indirectly, generate pressures on the marine ecosystems and actively contribute to preventing and mitigating them.

Since its birth in 2018, the Foundation has focused on understanding the relationship between business and ocean sustainability, offering innovative solutions for companies and policymakers through research projects and initiatives.

One Ocean Foundation aims to maintain its pioneering and leadership role in the Blue Economy field in the coming years. The foundation is dedicated to driving impactful actions that ensure the well-being of marine and coastal ecosystems.
