The virtual summit, which will take place on May 18th and 19th 2021, represents the first world forum dedicated to the Blue Economy and it is the meeting point for companies, governments, citizens, the media and the world of researchers and technologies.

It will be dedicated to opportunities of sustainable economic growth with the aim of fostering the Blue Economy through a global debate.

The meeting will develop through a series of conferences and forums which can be accessed via web. One Ocean Foundation will contribute to the event in a round table entitled “public-private collaboration for the preservation of the oceans”, taking place on the 18th at 12 pm, and will present the project “Business for Ocean Sustainability”, analysing new perspectives on the relationship between ocean sustainability and economy, with a particular attention upon the strategies implemented to reduce direct and indirect pressure on marine ecosystems.
