Siamo profondamente rattristati dalla scomparsa di Carlo Borlenghi, il fotografo che, più di chiunque altro, ha saputo cogliere l’anima della vela e del mare attraverso le sue lenti.
Le sue fotografie trasmettevano la potenza, la bellezza e la fragilità dell’oceano, ispirando generazioni di velisti, fotografi e amanti del mare in tutto il mondo. La sua eredità vive nelle immagini che ci hanno insegnato a guardare il mare con stupore, rispetto e senso di responsabilità. E continueranno a ricordarci perché è importante proteggere l’oceano.

Promoted by One Ocean Foundation under the patronage of the Municipality of Milan and developed in collaboration with the Via Gesù Association and circular design company Supernovas, the initiative transformed Via Gesù into the "Street of the Sea" through the installation of 75 large 3D-printed planters made from more than 2.4 tonnes of ghost fishing nets recovered from the ocean. The project demonstrated how circular economy, design, and urban regeneration can become powerful tools for raising awareness about ocean conservation. Carlo Borlenghi's lens helped bring this vision to life: through his photographs, he captured both the strength of the project's message and the beauty of the initiative, leaving a lasting mark on the history of our Foundation.
