OUR COMMITMENT TO THE BLUE ECONOMY

One Ocean Foundation strongly believes in the key role of business in fostering a sustainable transformation. With our definition of Blue Economy the concept of Ocean Economy is significantly expanded by taking into consideration all economic activities that, directly or indirectly, generate pressures on the marine ecosystems and actively contribute to preventing and mitigating them.

Since its birth in 2018, the Foundation has focused on understanding the relationship between business and ocean sustainability, offering innovative solutions for companies and policymakers through research projects and initiatives. In the coming years, One Ocean Foundation plans to continue its commitment as a pioneer and a leader in the field of Blue Economy and aims to drive impactful actions to ensure the well-being of the ocean and marine ecosystems.
